All our team have worked pro bono to bring the Mission to life.  The Earth Protectors Trust Fund itself is not intended for our use; it exclusively for the Trust Purpose, which is principally the travel, accommodation, conferencing and legal representation costs of those small and climate vulnerable States’ delegates and lawyers that have the courage to advance ecocide law.

If you feel inspired to support our “back office” core costs including legal advice and support for Conscientious Protectors - either as a one-off gift or a regular donation - please use the Paypal button below. You can also contact us for bank details if you prefer a direct transfer.

Any gift, however small, will help us greatly - our intention, beyond the core costs (premises, overheads, tech support etc) of managing Mission LifeForce, is to be able to fund our volunteer directors Polly & Jojo, who give themselves wholeheartedly and full time to the Mission whether or not the funds are there. We would love to enable them to continue this important work in a supported way. Scroll down to meet us…

THE LAWYER - Polly Higgins

Polly is the leading international expert and adviser on ecocide law, which she proposed into the United Nations International Law Commission in 2010. She is a barrister, award winning author and public speaker.

The choice is simple: protect our Earth (both in action and in law) or let it be plundered. This is a mission on a grand scale, with the power to protect the lives of millions of us, human and non-human. For me it is unconscionable to walk away. That is why we have called it Mission LifeForce.”

THE ACTIVIST - Jojo Mehta

Jojo is a well-known UK campaigner against dangerous industrial activities such as fracking and incineration. She is a writer, public speaker and motivator.

"Recklessly harming the earth is a crime. To recognise this is to act from my conscience to protect her, just as I would act to protect my children - and all our children. In truth it is one and the same, for this Earth is their future."

Technology addict and entrepreneur Coen founded Heroes & Friends, which is the crowdsourcing platform we use and a fantastic tool for grassroots movements.  He is the key digital co-ordinator for the mission and without him you wouldn’t be reading this.
